Currently, there are three Goldens
and two Border Collies taking residence at our home. We
are currently active in agility, obedience and tracking, but
occasionally find ourselves in the conformation ring or field
arena. During the summer, we all enjoy hiking some of the
wonderful regions in our beautiful state. The hiking pages
of this site document some of our travels. |

George came to
us from Teresa Smith in Ohio. She is the daughter of
Trouble
and Gavin.
It is a joy to have a golden back in our lives from the Lookout
line!

A daughter from Wheel's first
litter is our reigning princess, Relay.
Relay started as
Junior Handler's dog, earning all agility titles through MX, MXJ
and a TD handled by Caitlin, who was between the ages of 10 and
13 at that time. She was also the first dog in our
household, and third from her litter, to bring home the
title of MACH on October 22, 2004.

Catch, the big boy of the house,
brought his MACH home less than 30 days after Relay (November
20, 2004). He is the giant sweetheart of our home.
He is the second dog in his litter to earn the title of MACH.
Currently he is training for his CD & TDX, which he enjoys with
the same enthusiasm he brought to the agility ring.

Ah, the Border Collies. After
handling two Goldens in tracking and agility, Caitlin decided
she was ready or a dog with a little more punch. Thus,
along came Gadget. Thanks to
Stacy Peardot-Goudy and Kathy
Flynn, we are thrilled to have Gadget rounding up the
Goldens. He is a true star, who brings us great joy.

Here's the newest little Star! Born early October, 2005,
Guppy has
swam into our live and hearts in a whale sized way! What a
fun little fish he is!

Fred
was my first competition dog,
and a great dog he was. I never did his potential justice,
but I don't think he minded. Originally, he was a fine
Gallery Dog, to my advent garde art gallery in the pre-chic
Low-Do Denver Area. After taking a basic obedience class
with my high energy friend, I found I had an obedience star.
He stared in Barbara Handler's video, Best Foot Forward, as the
dog who put it all together. He took many HITs despite my
inconsistency of the time, as we began a new family, moved, and
made a career change during his prime years. Fred loved
the crowd, and always put on a great show.

Abby. What a girl.
Part-time mother to my daughter, Caitlin. Full-time great
dog. She was winners bitch at the Mile Hi Golden Retriever
Specialty in 1990. She was one of the best tracking dogs I
have ever worked, and she was soul mate to Caitlin.
Caitlin handled her to a WC at the age of 4 (Caitlin, not Abby),
and onto her OA OAJ when Abby was 10 years old!

Chloe. The one who started
all the Lookout Names! She was easy mannered, and fun
loving of a girl as one could hope for. She didn't know
how to have a bad day, even up to her death from bloat.
She was a fantastic brood bitch, gracious companion, and eager
worker. Her legacy lives on in her fabulous kids.

Wheels
October 23, 1994 - March 23, 2005
Sadly, we lost
Wheels very suddenly to liver cancer in March,
2005. She will always be a part of our lives, as she was
full of life and so much of our lives. She is the
first Golden I bred, who became a bench Champion that I
actually kept. To say she was special to us, would greatly
diminish her stature in our home. She was, the Wheel-Deal.
